People help and support the Children’s Home in many ways:-
By Praying --- “I can only pray” Never say “I can ONLY pray”
As though prayer
was some last resort
For it is by prayer,
and the power it brings
That “Our God changes
Please keep on praying for the Children and staff.
By Finance --- Monetary gifts are received in a number of ways:-
folks are able.
By regular bank
By church or group
The Gift -Aid scheme enables UK tax payers to increase their gift. By signing a simple
form we are able to claim 28p for every £1 donated from the Inland Revenue.
By Goods ---
Goods are received, sorted, packed and sent from our Norfolk base. Usually a batch
of 80 parcels a month with a combined weight of approx. 1250kg is dispatched via
a carrier on route to Ndola, to be collected by the Home’s vehicle and taken the
450 miles to Kabulamema.
By Knitting ---
Many people knit for the children, blankets , baby-wear, jumpers and shawls. The
